Vector-output functions

The following movies are related to the vector-output function given in Problem 3 of Section 1.3. The function is r(t)=(cos(t),sin(t))+a(cos(4t),sin(4t)). In the original problem, a=0.2. The first movie shows the output curve for r(t) being traced out as t ranges from 0 to 2Pi. The red vector is p(t)=(cos(t),sin(t)) and the green vector is q(t)=a(cos(4t),sin(4t)). The other two movies show the output curves for the values a=0.4 and a=0.1.
