Disclaimer: I have attempted to be comprehensive in the following, but important items may have been omitted by mistake. If you see such an omission, please let me know, but you are responsible for all of the lecture material to date.

The final hour exam for Honors 213 will be held on Monday, May 8 at 4:00 PM and will be a two-hour comprehensive exam.

Suggestions for review:

• Review the exam review documents for the preceding four hour exams
• Review hour exams and homework.
• Review the Poincaré disk model. With respect to this model,
  • Be able to describe interpretations for points, lines, incidence, betweenness and congruence (including Poincaré length).
  • Know the definitions for inverse, be able to illustrate the construction of an inverse, and be able to explain the role of inversion in demonstrating that the Poincaré disk interpretation is actually a model. Be familiar with propositions 7.1 - 7.5 (I haven't decided whether or not to add these to the list, since some of them take the role of constructive definitions).
• Philosophical musings
  • The role of a final exam is to tie together the various parts of the course. Look for repeats of questions that appeared in earlier exams (What is an axiom? What is a proof? What is the nature of mathematical truth? Be ready to explore more general questions ("Is hyperbolic geometry true?") but be able to support your answers with evidence from the material in the textbook and papers.
• There will, of course be the usual questions about definitions, and short proofs or portions of proofs.
