Lecture/exam/reading schedule
Notes:
- Please note that, except for scheduled University events and
exam dates, the schedule of topics, readings, and assignments is
tentative. It may be necessary to change an exam
date: if that happens, I will give you at least a week's notice
and make alternate arrangements for students unable to take the
exam on the rescheduled date. Please inform me of any conflict
between the dates entered here and those in the catalog and course
schedule. In the event of any conflicts, the catalog and course
schedule have the final say.
- The following is an ambitious schedule, and we may need to cut
back. Please watch this space (and the ThisWeek/NextWeek links)
for up-to-date details.
- CSci 340 is a project class. Accordingly, beginning with week
6 or thereabouts, one or two days each week will generally
(although not always) be identified as group work days. These are
days on which there will be no lectures, but on which I will be
available in my office for consultation. Although groups are not
required to meet on these days, they are days and times on which
all members of your group are guaranteed to have an hour free to
work together. Group days will be announced in the week
proceeding, and will be added to this schedule at that time.
Except for the special final group days at the end of the semester
I have not noted them below at the start of the term.
- Revised 10/12/2001 to reflect changes in document dates. To chart
actual progress, refer to the 'previous weeks' web page.
