Lecture/exam/reading schedule
Notes:
- Please note that, except for scheduled University events and
exam dates, the schedule of topics, readings, and assignments is
tentative. It may be necessary to change an exam
date: if that happens, I will give you at least a week's notice
and make alternate arrangements for students unable to take the
exam on the rescheduled date. Please inform me of any conflict
between the dates entered here and those in the catalog and course
schedule. In the event of any conflicts, the catalog and course
schedule have the final say.
- Some dates in the following schedule have no reading assigned
to them. These may be used to catch up if necessary, or they may
be used as group working days: that is, days in which we will not
have a lecture. This ensures that there will be a number of times
at which everyone in the group will be free for a meeting. I will
usually be available during these times for
office hours for this class. Please note, however, that we may
need one of these days for catch-up or for review; you should not
count on them for other activities.
