CSCI 261: Final Exam

Specifics
Our exam will be two hours long, and will be taken on paper, in person, in Thompson 383. It will be closed book & notes, and taken without computers. The exam is cumulative, but with an emphasis on the material covered since the last exam. Those topics are listed below, and the section numbers are the same for both the third and fourth edition of the textbook.
- Binary Trees (Sec. 6.1-6.3)
- Binary Search Trees (Sec. 6.5)
- Heaps and Priority Queues (Sec 6.6)
- Maps and Sets (Sec 7.1-7.4)
- Quadratic Sorts (Sec 8.1-8.4)
- Merge Sort (Sec 8.6)
- Quicksort (Sec 8.9)
- Heapsort (Sec 8.8)
- Graphs (Sec 10.1-10.4)
You can expect an emphasis on material that's been covered in lab and/or on assignments.
